A scoping consultation was initiated via the DAERA website from 01 July 2022 to 31 August 2022. The main reason for the consultation was to involve people and organisations in the development of a new forestry plan for the west Fermanagh Forestry Planning Area. The consultation was designed to reflect the wide ranging social, environmental and economic aspects of forestry in Northern Ireland in a way that is likely to be both of interest to stakeholders, and, relevant to forestry planning.
