Bovine Viral Diarrhoea eradication consultation response

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) has consulted on its proposal to introduce legislation to make the testing of bovines for Bovine Viral Diarrhoea (BVD) compulsory.  The aim of the legislation is to reduce the incidence of BVD and help facilitate the ultimate eradication of the disease in bovines in Northern Ireland.
