Advisory Committee on Packaging
This article highlights the role of the Advisory Committee on Packaging (ACP).
The Advisory Committee on Packaging (ACP) is a Government-appointed expert committee that advises Ministers across the UK, bringing together the expertise and experience of individuals with a specific interest in packaging and packaging waste.
ACP members are drawn from the various parts of the packaging supply chain, including businesses which have legal obligations under the Producer Responsibility Obligations Regulations and other Packaging Waste Regulations, as well as others who are involved in the management of packaging waste – local authorities, compliance schemes and waste management companies.
More information on the ACP (such as a list of membership or meeting minutes) can be found on the National Packaging Waste Database website linked here.
